Not worth $40
I bought this shaver just for travel trips, based on Consumer Reports review. Not worth the $40, maybe $20. It is loud, does a poor job of shaving, takes forever to get the job done and whatever you do don't try shaving a 2 day old beard. Like pulling each hair out one-by-one with tweezers, OUCH!! I have a 7000 series Syncro at home that is unbelievably smooth, normally $100 but it was $80 in the clearance bin at Walmart. Worth every penny.

Learn to Solder first.
Batteries fit and last for about 3 weeks on a charge. The tabs are slightly shorter than the originals which necessitates soldering to whatever is left on the circuit board. Use caution when using a pencil tip soldering iron. Due to the tight space at the top of the case it was way too easy to melt the cover with the long (and HOT) shaft of the iron. If you have an old time shaver that you just can't live without these batteries fill the bill nicely. There are cheaper sources out there but Goodman's got these to me in about 4 days well ahead of promise date and the shipping charge was reasonable.

If there were a way to rate 0 stars, I would.
This razor is absolutely worthless the way it is shipped. Truly, it's what your mother always taught you, a dull knife is much more dangerous than a sharp one. On top of everything else, they ship from china so took the better part of a month to get the razor. I suppose what do you expect though when the product only costs ten dollars. Truly wish I had saved myself the money and put it towards a good quality straight razor.
