NEW Braun Series 5-550CC System (Personal Care)
Excelant shaver, but not cheap
I wear a beard 5 months a year (nice for MN winters). I also blade shave on occation. I finally decided to replace my 20 year old Braun Flex Integra. It still shaved well with foil, cutter head and battery replacements over those years. I loved my old Braun. What an amazing product it has been to perform so well for so long.
There has been several claimed improvements over those years (some ad fluff, no doubt). Well this razor does a noticably better job on my 2 problem areas (reducing irritation and cutting my laid down neck hairs). I find that cleaning my face, drying and using a prep product like Lectrashave works very well for me. Also going dead against the grain a few passes is a must for those laid down hairs. I used to pull a disposable single blade razor over my neck to get the few remaining laid down hairs. NO MORE and bye bye with the associated irritation.
