I bought this because of the great reviews but when I received my first razor it never worked. I exchanged if for another razor and it only worked for 2 weeks and then would not hold a charge. Sadly,I would not reccommend this product.

Excelant shaver, but not cheap
I wear a beard 5 months a year (nice for MN winters). I also blade shave on occation. I finally decided to replace my 20 year old Braun Flex Integra. It still shaved well with foil, cutter head and battery replacements over those years. I loved my old Braun. What an amazing product it has been to perform so well for so long.

There has been several claimed improvements over those years (some ad fluff, no doubt). Well this razor does a noticably better job on my 2 problem areas (reducing irritation and cutting my laid down neck hairs). I find that cleaning my face, drying and using a prep product like Lectrashave works very well for me. Also going dead against the grain a few passes is a must for those laid down hairs. I used to pull a disposable single blade razor over my neck to get the few remaining laid down hairs. NO MORE and bye bye with the associated irritation. Well first off I can't say how much I love the Clean Cut shaver! It is awesome for those delicate areas down below and although the cleaning of the razor can be tedious I still love it. Now for the Panasonic well because you need to make your hairs short enough to use the Clean Cut which is something that you'd need to do for any foil razor I bought another one of these even knowing that the thing grabs, pinches and cuts you up I couldn't think of another affordable razor to use and boy I wish I'd tried something else because it actually makes me wary to use. I know that if you use it at a certain angle (the proper angle going against the hairs) you'll be okay but I'm talking about doing my privates here and we all know that's impossible to do the whole time.
